It was recorded by men who were inspired and directed by the Holy Spirit; therefore, it is the word of God. Jesus loves you.

I am so excited about the Bible, it is written by men who were inspired by GOD. If you look carefully, there are 66 books in the Bible and all the books which were written by different men at different time, maybe I should use the word "era". Yet all the books can link to one another. This is the most amazing part.
In the Bible we can also learn the History of mankind. Long ago, all mankind had long life and how our life has been shortened from generation to generation. Now as we look closely in our era; our life is so fragile and why out of a sudden there are 1 or 2 people can live more than 100 year old. These are one of the signs that proof what is written in the Bible is true.
I also appreciated the Bible the most, because in the olden days people needed to duplicate the Bible or translated the Bible from the master piece, people can't just duplicate or translated the Bible like our modern days, if we need to duplicate some pages we just need to put our materials on the photocopying machine than it will do all the work. In olden days, there weren’t any photocopying machine. All the words were written by hand, and they have to use different pen to write. 1 pen was specially used to write the word "GOD" only. These were the ways how the ancient people honor GOD. On top of that GOD gave a command, "not to use HIS words in vain." So for those people who involved in writing the Bible had to follow each words very carefully. I am very touched by what the ancient people had done. So I hope you are too.
GOD bless!

There are now more than 60 versions of the Bible(Different versions not translations The different versions of the Bible are not merely different translations, but are actually versions i.e. they add and remove things from other versions)
These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect
The Bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Qur'an is a dictation. The speaker in the Qur'an - in the first person - is God talking directly to man. In the Bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history.
The previous scriptures were meant for a limited period (and a specific people) that ended with the revelation of what abrogated them and exposed what had taken place in them of distortion and change. That is why they were not protected from corruption
Muslims believe in the books of the previous prophets including the "Torah" which was sent to Moses, the "Zaboor" (Psalms) which were given to David, the "Injeel" (Gospel) which was given to Jesus, and the Qur'an which was given to Muhammad However, Muslims are told that the previous scriptures were tampered with by mankind and the Bible should only be accepted in as far as it is confirmed by the Qur'an. It is to be treated with respect, however any statements which clearly oppose those of the Qur'an are to be rejected as the work of mankind.

I consider myself a Christian.
Mainly by God, God inspired these men what to write, there was many other things that men wanted to add in the bible, it wasn't added cause God didn't want it in there. There was a lot more information in those days that was lost in a fire, in a library. I say God's words written by mans hand, some words may of been change in translation.

I am a Christian. The Bible was divinely inspired of God, written by the hands of men.
2 Timothy 3 (NIV):
16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

I can't believe some of the answers written by morons to this question. The bible was written by men of course, but God told them what to write. They did not add or detract from His words. The only thing men added later were punctuation marks, and I only know of one verse that a comma was used in front of a word instead of after the word, and it changed the meaning a little. Nothing that could cause you to be lost.

Born again - redeemed believer in Jesus Christ - if that's who consider a Christian to be. Many may claim the title of Christian, however, you must accept the virgin birth, death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God (2nd Timothy 3:16)
Written by men that God inspired through the Holy Ghost.
Take care!
