You could do all the things you wanted to do but could not because everyone would think you were an @sshole. You can blame it on the concussion.
Go play in the fountain at the mall.
Go into the girls' bathroom.
Go laugh at people for no apparent reason.
Go nuts on a store mannequin.
The possibilities are endless.

It seems there are two issues here. Regarding the concussion, you just need to rest and it will go away. There is nothing more you can do for that.
But regarding the situation which caused it in the first place, you are smart to recognize that there are issues that you need to work on. This is what my friend always tells me--that the people with really bad problems are the ones who deny that they have any. You are not one of those people. So, you are smart in my book.
Now, I must say, I, myself, feel like banging my head against a brick wall sometimes b/c life gets so frustrating. So, I must conclude from your words and your actions that you also feel bad about yourself and you feel that something that happened or is happening in your life is your fault or is being blamed on you. Do you feel frustrated, perhaps, b/c people do not listen to you or understand you?
If it is possible to try to talk it out with the parties involved, try that. If not, you may want to try counseling or medication to get your anger out in other ways. Or perhaps take up exercising b/c that will also help. Find a friend to call up, or get on here or on Messenger and talk about the situation that is upsetting you so.
Or, pray. That helps me a lot. And realize this--you deserve to have a good, peaceful life, and you don't need to go through such trauma. Try not to let things get to you that much. Analyze the situation and see if it is really as bad as you think. Think before you act.
Just some ideas to try, perhaps. Hang in there. And take care of that head. Lie down, watch some TV and sip a nice, cool drink. That sounds sooo relaxing. That's what you need...to relax.

Well let me tell you, while it may have taken a lot of effort, you explain yourself far better than most on here. Your not stupid.
The doctor is right it will go away. But it is like any other part or your body it takes time. Suppose you hit your finger with a hammer. Would you expect it to get better overnight?
This is the same thing only it effects a whole lot more of you.
You really rattled your brain. I will take time for it to heal.
In the meen time just be as careful as you were when you wrote this and you will be fine.

Colder than normal showers may help, dont do a lot of strenuous excersize. No quick or sudden movements.
Eat and drink alot, take aspirin or tylenol. And basically wait it out. If your vision or speech become impaired see a doctor right away.
And protect your head from even the slightest of bumps. You have a fluid sack up there that has inflated to protect your brain. The cold showers could help reduce that a little, but any quick or jerky movements could prolong it.
Have fun sitting there doing nothing, i feel for ya lol

The doctor should have advised you on what you should do between now and then, but rest and relaxation are never a bad thing. Catch up on some sleep and take it easy for a while, a concussion is a serious injury that is not to be taken lightly. You damaged brain cells, give yourself some time to recuperate.

Take it easy, put your feet up.
You have had an injury and MUST give it time to heal.
Specific concussion help. not the sort of thing you can splint or bandage, is it?. Rest, the more you rest the better.
Thinking on... squinting at a computer screen probably isnt too good for you right now either

Since you talked to the doctor and he feels it will just take time, try to relax and rest a lot for a few days. Concussion headaches are no fun so take it easy! I've had several concussions and they were all because of my awkwardness! Hope you're feeling better soon!

Quit being so hard on yourself....meaning mentally and physically. Learn how to vent your frustrations another way instead of taking it out on yourself or even others. I think it would do you a lot of good to take an anger management class. It will teach you how to deal with...your anger issues.
Sometimes one...has to take responsibility of their actions and unfortunately has to suffer the consequences of what they do.
I seriously hope things do get better for you.

Just wait! Like the doc said. And be careful so that, while being in this dumb state you don't provoke yourself another concussion. Slowly you'll be getting back to normal.
(Would you say I'm a gay little one-liner?)

your not dumb first of all accidents do happen. how long since the accident have you been feeling like this? you may need to be rechecked to make everything is ok. if you are getting nowhere with the doctor who diagnosed you with this and you are not getting better i would strongly recommend seeing a neurologist who specializes with head tramas so he can evaluate your symtoms and make sure nothing else is going on.
