IF we're talking about weight lifting, what is a good sets and reps we should do each day to get a defined tone muscles? aNd how long should it take?

hi mate. If you wanna build muscles you should do about 8 to 12 reps per set. your last rep in that range should be one that take all of your last drop of glucose in your body. I ususally do about 4 sets per exercise and about 3 exercises per body part like chests.

If you want tone, lots of books say to do high reps and low weights. The effet of that is aerobic in nature. But personally i feel to get the tone you should first get the size and then cut your diet reasonably and do more cardio like running to reduce the fat percentage in your body. Then you will be able to see the tone. While you do that you want to continue your current workout at the ranges i have mentioned above. Just maybe reduce the frequency....if you were doing 4 times a wekks cut to 3 and increase your cardio by one more day.

Within the first 6 weeks if you do it right you should be able to see some results. Keep at it and within the 2 months you will clearly see the tone.
