NO.... the baby might choke on it

NOOOOOOO!!!! Never feed a child under two hotdogs, peanuts or honey. Hotdogs are the most dangerous food you can give a baby if they have not gotten chewing down perfectly. And peanuts are second. The shape of them and the size can get lodged in their throat and make them choke even if you try a billion times to get it out. I have 3 kids, I read alot. Please don't feed the baby hotdogs. My youngest is 2.5 and I still get scared. I have seen videos of what it does, and the shape matches their throats perfectly. It is scary. Cutting them up doesnt do much good either.

What is wrong with you people?
Who are you to tell this woman/man that they can't give their child hot dogs, unless you are a nutrition specialist and even then it would be questionable for you to tell someone else what to do!

My daughter eats hot dogs,(just cut them into slices and then slice them again, can't have anything round, so you have to cut them or it is a chocking hazard!
She eats eggs, toast, chicken, green beans, carrots, peas, Lima beans, cheerios, and even crackers and she only has her two front teeth, just a month ago and she has been eating like this for a while! The way to tell if it bothers them is if their bowel movements change or they vomit!
Don't let anyone tell you what to do, if you want more information you can go to: gerber.com and they will tell you the kind of foods that your baby should or could be eating! Also you might try to put : foods that a 10 month old can eat, into goggle and it will give you alot of other web pages to check out!
People always try to tell you how to raise your child, you have to learn to let most of it, go out the other ear and keep only the information that you need! As a mother, you have to rely on your instincts from the very beginning, if you think it is o.k. then try it, if your baby does not tolerate it well, you will know! I have 5 kids ages 12 to 11 months! Hope this helps! Good luck and God bless!

~~~NO,,,,first of all, hot dogs are a major choking hazard with small children, even if cut up in pieces. Also,,,no matter what solid food you introduce your child to,,,it depends on how many teeth your baby has. Some babys dont have their teeth comming in untill almost a year old. Has your baby had any solid food yet,,,,dry cheerios is a good way to start,,, they disolve fast and are not a choking hazard,,,,Always make sure your in the same room when your baby is eating,,,,never asume you baby will be fine left alone in the highchair while eating. ~~~
My son became off his foodstuff for the most suitable 2 days, seems he had tonsilitis back. I continuously understand there is something incorrect even as he wont eat his weetbix for breakfast lol If he's not eating or eating and intensely fussy then take him to the document to get his throat and ears checked. also, will be teething.
They shouldn't. Honestly, adults shouldn't either. Hot dogs and a lot of cured luncheon meats have nitrites in them that are bad for your health.
They are a cancer risk so it's best that you avoid, or limit consumption.
Yes but nobody should eat hotdogs...they taste nasty and are made of beef, pork, rats, bugs, rat and bug feces, and anything else they don't notice going in, pigeons too..
You can feed them anything, if it is in small enough pieces. A small child can choke on a hold hot dog. We would grind up our regular meals and give it to
our children. They grow like weeds.
No. Not only because of the form factor but because of the nutrition.
