I used to be skinny myself, as in Waring 14 in Boys and I'm 31 years old, and I went to a 28 in mens. This is how I done it, and you have to know a little bit about it, but you need to intake more Amino Acids (Protein), and Calories also, but AMino has alot to do with it. Like Fish, Hotdogs, Balogna, Beef and Pork or you can Do the Expensive way, and goto GNC, and this is the only one I found that Mixes VERY Well, is A Protein called (Whey Protein) it comes in several different Flavors, slightly costy, but you will get I think it's 40g of protein per serving. Me being Low income, I went to save-a-lot during the week and get a Buck pack of Eckridge Hotdogs, several packs that is, and grill them all summer, and I've gained tons of weight and Muscle, here is the thing to, you can't work out or exerise if you want the weight on, Amino Acids Turn Fat Tissue into Muscle if you exercise, this what Body Builders use to gain Muscle Mass, if you want to gain weight, then take in Amino and Cals. and sit around, it will do the opposite, it will put weight

Men, being skinny is one thing, being unhealthy is another. Try a balanced diet. Did you know that eating poorly can cause one person to be skinny while it will cause another to be fat. yep. You must follow a healthy diet. Avoiding fruits and veggies will not help you gain weight. If you want to be a healthy weight you must eat correctly and that does not mean running to McDonald's and benching yourself in front of the t.v. OMG the things that go through your heads. If you want a quick fix...like in the next week or so, try layering your clothes. Go to a clothing store and tell the sales person you want to add weight to your appearance...they can help. Trust me, clothes can add weight. Mean while, healthy diet, exercise, focus on positive energy, and patience. If you can add 2 lbs a month that is a total of 20 lbs in less than a year. Don't try to gain 20 lbs in a day. It's not going to work unless you use smoke and mirrors, or clothes. lol.

Skinny is good, if you are obsessing about the lack of muscle bulk, forget it. According to the new BMI , body mass index, even Arnold is obese. The more bulk you have to haul around, the greater the force of gravity upon you and the greater the work is for your heart. I would kill to be skinny again, I lifted weights all of my life and am very muscular, but I am on a program to reduce my total body mass. I am 6ft 4, weigh 257, and have very little fat. My goal is to lose 40 pounds and that is not as easy as losing 40 pounds of fat.

my boyfriend wanted to get big fast, like put in weight because he was going to be doing some seroiius weight lifting. So he really just mad sure he ate bigger portions, not like junk food, but more breakefast lunch and dinner. he loaded up on carbs, then once a dy he also drank these protein shakes, he mixed like a fruit juice with powder protein. This helped him gain almost 35 lbs. The protein should help you put the weight on fast, also up how much protein you eat during the day. Good luck

I heard that this Big Mas is somewhat good but u need to eat healthy food and work out a bit to tone your body coz you don't want to gain wait and look ugly... you can ask an instructor at the gym coz they know what are the best ways to gain wait and still have a nice toned body... But still you have to eat more than your usual meals, and try to keep your diet healthy so you won't have any complications...

Hey, As they say there are ways to do it but they'll back fire later on. Trying to gain weight instantly is not anyway a good idea. Try to eat more food at little increments while doing moderate exercise. Being skinny is not a bad thing!

Very simple my friend. Eat more.
I know someone like you and I have observed the habits:
1. They do not like food with lots of fat (the taste of fat is off putting).
2. When they do eat they eat quite a lot, but if you notice the amount of calories they are consuming over a couple of days, you realise that they get by with very little.
So try this.
1. Work out.
2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
3. Eat lots of carbs like rice and pasta.
4. Eat full fat cheese.
5. Eat red meat in moderation.
6. Eat fish, especially fish like salmon, which is quite fatty.
7. Make sure you do not miss breakfast, lunch and dinner (the 3 of them every day ok, and they need to be substantial. One sandwich does not make a lunch!)
Remember, it is better to be healthy and skinny, then to gorge yourself on nasty stuff regularly like fast food meals, carbonated drinks, ice cream etc. etc.

Are you healthy? Just follow a healthy diet and accept yourself as you are. Trust me being healthy is much more important than being a "perfect weight" I have had weak lungs all my life and have to struggle to breathe constantly in the winter. Don't buy into the media hype. Go outside breath in and be glad it does not feel like a knife cutting you with each breath. Have fun run jump , do cartwheels.

In combination with your protien shakes, you need to be lifting weights. The protein helps your body rebuild the muscles, resulting in faster weight gain.

Just eat plenty of carbs, including white, wheat and whole grain. Also take in much more protein. As far as exercising, try strength training but do the reps much slower. This REALLY builds muscle and in half the time. Good luck!
