Yes, I will definitely go back to Turkey! I have already been there four times, once in Marmaris, and I had a great time every single time I visited that country! I find turkish people very kind and friendly and I enjoy talking to them. Of course, different people have different motifs and it is up to you to find out why they want to talk to you, just to sell you something or because they are really friendly. But, of course, if you want them to be friendly, you have to be friendly towards them as well.

turkey is a good place to start a visit the middle east with discount airfares. turkish buses are very comfortable, and you can go from istanbul to the syrian border, lebanon, jordan etc...and save on the price of a ticket to damascus or beirut
of course the current political situation makes things more difficult.

When it's all said and done--I think I prefer Chicken to Turkey. Many ways to prepare it and it's more flavorful and tasty. Turkey for the holidays because it's the thing to do but for year round, good eatin, go Chicken.

Go to Antalya on the Mediterranean. Stay in the hotels along the sea and don't go to the market if you don't want to be harassed.
