My Breasts are huge! But I was told cosmetic surgery would make God mad. What should I do?

Who told you that, some guy that likes looking at them? So I suppose God would rather you have back problems and slump over at an early age? Get the breast reduction and save your health.

i.e., 'if your hand offends you cut it off (so, if your breasts make your temple of God, which is your body, unbecoming, unhealthy or uncomfortable, then you need to do reconstruction on the temple)

Is this a serious question? I'm going to treat it as such...laugh at me if you want. I don't know how "huge" we're talking here; assuming you don't want to publish abroad your bra size lol...but I have a large chest too...have thought about getting reduction surgery in the past but decided against it for several reasons of my own (#1 being I hate surgery!). No, God is not going to be mad if you decide to get the surgery done. He is far more concerned with your heart! 1 Samuel 16:7--"Man looks at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart." If your boobs are so large that you have back pain, problems fitting into clothes, etc.--if it's seriously interfering with your ability to enjoy life, then go ahead and get'em knocked down a couple sizes! If it's just a minor inconvenience, however, I'd seriously think b4 jumping in. Surgery is always a big deal.

Who told you that? People have all kind of opinions about things they know nothing about. If your large breasts make you uncomfortable, a breast reduction is nothing spectacular. You're just removing some tissue. Ask some more people. Ultimately, it's your choice.

if your breast are causing you mental or physical anguish i do not believe god would mind that's about like saying if we pierce our ears or put on make up it would make god mad because that also alters our appearance god is not petty in anyway if you need healed as in back pain from your breast or they cause emotional stress i think god would say suffer not that's like getting your teeth pulled because toothaches do you think god would want you to suffer its the same as with your breast i am not trying to sound mean about this but who ever said that to must not truly know the love of God. For Crikey's sake, get the breast reduction. Do you honestly think God cares about your boobs? Yeah, like people's boobs are high up on the list when they are killing each other in the Middle East, in Uganda, in Iraq.

Surgery of this kind is a health issue. If you're that large, at some point your back is going to be affected and then all kinds of other things could follow that.

I personally don't believe that others can decide what's right for us. If it doesn't hurt anyone, its no one else's business!!

honey, God gets mad on us only when we change our face, or other things that we don't really need to change. you could make your breasts smaller losing weigh. this wouldn't make God mad, right? if cosmetic surgery has the same effect, it means that God won't mind to see you happier. do it!:)

Pray about it. If you ask God he will answer. I don't think, of course I am no one special, that God would be upset about reducing them. My daughter is hoping to have the surgery one day because of the pain they cause her with her back. I do believe that doing it for health and not vanity is the difference.
