Yes. This is mocking the Holy Spirit, and mockers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Satan is a mocker and he has already been condemned. It may seem like great fun to you to blaspheme the witness of t he Holy Spirit, but when you kneel before Jesus begging for your life and he says, "I do not know you. Prepare for the devil and his angels.", then you will not think it so funny. Jesus loves love.

No, making fun of people that have been dead 2000 years or making fun of imaginary sky beings generally will not incur any punishment, except maybe by religious people who can't accept that others don't believe what they do.
Making fun of something is a way of opening people's eyes to the parts of that belief that is silly. That might get the person to think more about what they actually believe. So, even if a person gets offended that someone DARE say something against their personal closely held beliefs, it might have a net positive effect. In any case, it lets the person know that not everybody around them hold that belief as dearly as they do. This might soften their rhetoric a bit when they talk to other people. This would also be a good effect.

There is a difference between 'punishment' and 'consequences'. If I am in school and don't do my homework, and make jokes out of the test questions, it is not punishment, but consequences if my paper is so messed up it makes no sense, and then at the end of the year I can't pass because I know nothing,, and then I can't get a job because I know nothing.
It is consequences and not punishment if I put my hand in the fire and it gets burned.
There is an old expression - cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.
So consequences are like cause and effect.
Making fun of Jesus and God causes confusion, and shows your own confusion and confused people make messes, and those messes affect themselves as well as their environment and community.

This rule only works within the physical reality. It does not apply to spirit which is beyond the need for an ego. Only an ego can be offended, spirit is unconcerned and seeks to punish nothing.
On the other hand the physical universe is designed to be like a mirror. Any negativity that you put out into the universe will be reflected back in exact measure.
Ignore the rule only at your own great peril.
Love and blessings

well we cannot decide or judge for u, but as a muslim i know that we should not bad mouth that is held sacred. Jesus-pbuh is a God for christians, muslims take him to be a prophet and role model and jews consider him as a prophet. so indeed without a doubt jesus-pbuh is divine.
jesus -pbuh was one among the 1,24,000 prophets that were sent for the entire humankind-pbut.
and as far as God is concerned. u have many examples from history right in front of u, be it the people of people of noah, abraham, moses, david, solomon, jesus or muhammed-pbut. no man in history survived after challenging and falsely accusing God.
now its ur wish, u can decide what u want, and no man has the right to doubt ot judge u. and i'm sure that since its a free society we live in, most people will accept and respect ur decision. but i cannot gaurantee what Allah (God ) will judge u. but watever the case, u will be judged on ur deeds not on ur faith.
may the peace and blessings of Allah be with us and may He guide us in the right path.

I am Buddhist and I believe in reincarnation, and the sins (mistakes) we make in this life will be retributed to us in our next incarnation. However the Christian concept is that you are blasphemous and God will extract his due. Since this is belief, there are no facts to confirm any religion...yes we know that Jesus Christ lived, and Buddha lived...but much is based on pure faith not fact...however I am a cautious person, and I would prefer to take no chance of offending anyone...do you want to take the chance?

Scripture says one can blaspheme the Father or the Son, and be forgiven. But to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, will not be forgiven.
Not that it will hurt the Holy Spirit's feelings. But that the Holy Spirit is our Lifeline, our connection to God. Scripture says
we always resist the Holy Spirit. Calling everything of a spiritual nature the work of Satan.
Daniel was called a dissolver of doubts. Not that there is no danger in spiritual things, there is. That is the purpose of praying for guidance and protection. But the only way to dissolve doubt, is through personal spiritual experience.

Because it has to do with Christians, you might not feel any immediate or direct attack. But that does not mean if your joke is derogatory, you have gone free. God himself has his own way of punishing you. For every work has a reward.
But if it has to do with muslim's mohammed, then expect suicide bombers in your hometown and terrorist attacks in your schools and business place.
Remember the Danish cartoon of the mohammaed.
