you can invest in a good brand of anti dandruff shampoo. if that is not an alternative then you can put the juice of a lemon in you scalp before taking a bath, or use lemon water as a last rinse.

you can also put curd on you scalp leave on for twenty minutes and then shampoo off. this not only makes hair dandruff free, but also makes it silky.

and dont ever forget the chumpi! atleast once a week with warm coconut or mustard oil

first, consider this...what do the flakes look like? are they white and flaky? or are they more of a clumpy flake and yellow or of white? if they are white and flaky it is not dandruff it is dry scalp and by using a dandruff shampoo you are making it worse!! a dandruff shampoo is meant to dry out dandruff which is usually slightly yellow and can be clumpy. dandruff also has an oily consistency and can be smelly if it goes untreated. if you say your hair is 'silky and good' than it is most likely dry scalp. and what you need is moisture! try a hydrating shampoo, biolage hydrating is good with their conditioning balm or redken clear moisture shampoo and conditioner. if it truly dandruff you should see a dermatologist.

nizaral shampoo is gud but pls be carefull as it is highly concentrated & it can make ur hair turn gray, & the moment u stop the dandruff is back ........ so use some milder shampoo & wash ur hair frequently....... keep the scalp clean ........ i really dont think thre is a permentent solution for dandruff.......

I would alternate your regular shampoo with Head n Shoulders. Also try and avoid blow drying your hair all the time.
