Well, Marx probably had a point regarding the opiate effect of blind faith in religion. People who convince themselves they understand Everything and that it’s all ultimately fair and good can celebrate blissfully, I suppose.
That said, and all religion aside, perhaps if we were somehow able to know it ALL, we might still be laughing. Maybe the Truth would strike us as absurd. And is it just me, or do you sense a comedic irony underlying much of life?

LOL. I already am (figuring it all out...) That "someday" happens every moment! There's a lot of NOW happening between now and someday. "Someday" connotes that it may never be attained (unless you break it down to NOW, and NOW, and NOW...) I am celebrating now! Whether my definition of what "ALL" means between now and someday, is irrelevant. This parade is having a blast despite the rainy weather. LOL
