I have a mix breed ***** she has seasonal as well as food allergies. To help we put her on a restricted diet it seemed to help out a lot. The vet also recommended benadryl. All dogs are not the same though, you should probably take her to a vet and get a professional opinion, she may have a skin parasite or something worse.
We had her fixed it did not make a difference

Probably allergies give benadryl at the rate of 1/2 mg/per lb dogs body weight every 8 hrs. Wash dog with a shampoo containing wheat. this will ease the itching

Do the simple things first, like treat for fleas, switch to a better food, shampoo weekly. If that does not help, see the vet and probably undergo allergy testing. Once they find out what the dog is allergic to, they can give the dog allergy shots like in humans to desensitize the dog to the allergens. May be expensive, but it works.

Could very well be an allergy, not uncommon in these breeds. Talk with the vet about a possible food allergy and what to try next if needed.

Take it to the vets for a professional judgement. It could be one of many things from fleas to distemper. Ask the professionals.
