Well thats easy to answer, even if the misogynist element does not want to hear the truth...
Theres this psychological condition called oedopus complex, based on the ancient greek (or maybe roman) mythology about a guy who falls in love with his mother...you get the picture.
Now a lot of cultures place an irrational importance on being a virgin (for girls anyhows) based on the idea that all girls are free and easy with their favours, except for a persons sisters or mother.
So the boys are chasing the (mythical) concept of purity which they can associate with unconditional love, which is the type that a mother gives her child.
As a red blooded bloke, I would much rather some experience, because virgins are more likely to chip my teeth when kissing or bite at the wrong moment. I could go on, but I'm sure you get my drift. Basically, the percieved advantages of a virgin are at odds with the reality and anyone who disagrees is not in touch with reality or still living the teenage dream.

That's just how it is. Some for cultural reasons (mainly in the Middle East, and mainly Muslims). Some, like a Greek I knew, who dated only virgins, deflowered each, and then left them.

There's quite a business out of London and Cairo in hymenoplasty.

In the West, marrying a virgin is almost impossible since half of all girls have sex before age 16, and the rest mostly by 18. If you count oral sex as sex (most don't), then the age is even earlier, closer to 13 or 14.

Because it is the only way the man can be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that any child the woman produces after the wedding is his progeny. This is assuming that the woman is honest when she vows to "cleave myself only unto him".
See the marriage vows are not just pretty words you say, they constitute a contract - the man says "I'll take care of you and your children forever" and the woman says "I'll only screw you from now on and take care of you, too." Modern variations in the ceremony have weakened the contract, to no good social result (IMHO).
See, the purpose of marriage is to produce and successfully rear children. Everything else is just to make the task palatable to the husband and wife.
The woman's goal is to rear her children.
The man's goal is to see that the children she raises are his.
If you understand this, and can see the underlying motivations, then everything from divorce court to abandonment to Jerry Springer becomes perfectly logical.
