During the summer holidays when the children are off school makes it that much harder to keep them occupied.
Are any other parents waiting for them to return to school?

I really enjoyed our two weeks of actual summer, LOL
Can't wait until next June when the sun *might* just come out again...

Although I love my kids I think 6 weeks is too long for them to be on holiday.We live in a village and my youngest has no friends here so she gets really bored and keeping her occupied is difficult. I can't wait until they go back. I also secretly like the space I get when they are in school, just an hour on my own is nice!

I love being able to sleep longer in the mornings, no rushing around, but 1 of my kids is ADHD and a real nightmare, so can't wait for him to go back, he gets bored too easily. The rest of my kids are just fine, enjoy being with them, we have been out on trips and we have stayed in watching movies.
Have also used the holidays to change their bedrooms around, least I can 'chuck 1 out' while I decorate! Lol
Only 2 weeks left to go!

I hate the rain! I loved it when we had that lovely spell of hot weather, now it's just a distant memory. And yes 17 days and counting till the kids go back to school. Can't wait !!!!!!!

Waiting to back to school????? I,m waiting for them to grow up and start work.lol Kiddin, There great even when they drive me up the wall, eat all the best sweets, wreck the place, bleed me dry of all funds. There shouting at each other righrt now.Joy.

You can have lots of fun in the rain, get yourself in your coats and put your wellies on and see who can jump in the most puddles and watch your kiddies faces light up with huge smiles because mom is joining in the fun, I just love doing it, OK you get wet but it is really good fun too.

I love it when they are off, if its raining my daughter watches tv and plays with her dolls and other toys .
she also helps me around the house.
bringing one of her friends in gets her playing in her room and normally they behave well.
I just love getting extra in bed and no rushing in the morning.

My kids arent in school yet so no not really there'll be no change. Also of course i LOVE being with my kids.. 24 7.... all day.. evryday... ~ARG! shoot me!
