Faith is belief, trust or confidence often based on a transpersonal relationship with God, a higher power, elements of nature and/or a perception of the human race as a whole. Faith can be placed in a person, inanimate object, state of affairs, proposition or body of propositions such as a religious credo. In each case, faith transcends what can be proven scientifically and sometimes exceeds what can be objectively defined. Faith can mean believing unconditionally. It can be acceptance of something that one has been told by one who is considered trustworthy. Faith, by its very nature, requires belief outside of known fact. Faith is formed through instinct, intuition, meditation, communing with nature, prayer, or perceived usefulness of a belief system.
KEEP THE FAITH!

Faith is to believe in the unseen. And not just blindly believe, based on facts and logic. For example some people convert to Islam when they come to know that God Himself vowed to protect the Quran and the Kaaba at Makkah (Mecca) Himself. No one can ever change or destroy these two things till the end of the world. Till today, not even a dot in the Quran has changed. There's only ONE version of Quran there.
And Kaaba still stands there intact and ever beautiful. So these are some proofs of God's existence. Now once you're convince He exists, you believe in Him. And you believe in whatever comes from Him next. That's FAITH.
Because there are a lot of things that CAN'T be explained to human beings since they don't have enough brains to understand. Just imagine if God created us SO SO complicated (ever seen a documentary about human anatomy?) then you an imagine how sophisticated God Himself is. His existence is WAY beyond what we can think. So have FAITH!!!

The be conscious "perception" confuses the placement because we are speaking about faith, so it truly is deceptive people into wondering that atheists trust something. it truly is genuinely only the option of perception. An atheist is man or woman who denies the existence of a deity/deities and does not worship any deity. considering I genuinely have seen yet another incorrect opinion about atheists, if I had my druthers i might want to also upload to the definition above, "...and that denial includes each and every of the secondary characters linked with that deity". reason: some non secular people immediately make a stupid bounce and mistakenly imagine that if atheists deny God they ought to worship devil. i do not recognize any atheist who worships something, now to not educate a mythological being believers made up.

I looked in Websters and the term that I think describes my faith, is loyalty.....Here is an example:
About 18 years ago, I was in a horrible situation where my x-husband was stealing money from our account to buy drugs....Not knowing what he was doing and as we were sinking financially, I was working myself into exhaustion with two jobs trying to keep it all together......When I hit the bottom, I cried out for help, hoping that there is really a God who could help me....
Something bigger than myself, answered, not with words, but with an amazing sense of peacefulness and a knowing that this presence was there with me and would show me what to do.....
To make a long story short, I started knowing the future in vivid detail and knowing exactly what I needed to do as I was led out of the marriage that progressed into my x-husband trying to kill me and the kids....
I am safe and happy now, married to my soul mate, and I am loyal to that presence that was there for me, when I so desperately needed help....

Faith is the ability to believe in something without seeing or without physical proof. I believe with my heart and soul - not with my mind. When I enter my church, I actually feel the presence of the Lord. That's hard to explain to someone who has never felt this presence.

Faith is simply "believing without seeing". It takes a desire to believe first and an effort to view other people's experience and thoughts on the subject.

I think that faith adds dimension to reason, not an opposition. I have to admit that some people cling to strange beliefs that fly in the face of all reason..
