Very honestly, electric fry pans do not get hot enough to give a satisfactory result....but if you want to try....set it on the highest temperature (have all ingredients ready as Chinese cooking is fast)....dump in the pre-cooked rice, and stir it quickly, coating the rice, then add meat or shrimp, then add chopped green onions, and if you wish bean sprouts, then the fried eggs, and at last add the green peas.....if you use baby corn, then add it at the same time as the meat or shrimp (cut it into small pieces about 3/4 inch long)...add soy sauce just prior to serving. My favorite fried rice is from Vietnam and contains many things... Do not use MSG....but a sprinkle of Chicken essence is ok.

Put the temperature as high as you can without actually burning it. Fried rice should be fried as quickly as possible in my opinion anyways, otherwise I find it gets to mushy. You still want it to be firm.
