i was at a party with all these drunk kids, and the guy whose house it was had a cat who'd just had kittens. and this one lil kitten was really kinda slow and didn't look very healthy, so they where jokin around about what to do to it,
and so finally this one guy whose always into doing something stupid was like "ill do an ozzie ozbourne and bite it's head off if you each give me 5 dollars"
so they did and he bit the poor kittens head off. im like still havin nightmares about it and im just so angry and want to do something, but what should i do or who should i call? i dont want people to know i was the one who told and then think im a loser

Well honestly, there is nothing you can do about it. You are right, it's your word against someone else's. And with no proof, there is no reason to go to law enforcement.
Keep in mind, what comes around goes around. I suggest doing something that might make you feel better. If it were me, I would go to bed every night and make up my own dream. For example, I might make up a dream where this guy is out hiking in the wild and runs into a mountain lion. The lion stalks him until he catches him, and then kills the guy. That would indeed be poetic justice for that little baby, and who knows, it could happen, right?

as so many people have already said, report this to the police, or some other authority. don't worry too much about proof, that's the cop's job, not yours.
i'd bet if you give them a list of names of people who were there and saw it happen, they can get all they need. they'll just contact these people, say they just want their comments on this incident that they've been told about, and someone will crack and comfirn your story.
worst case scenario, it is your word against his, but then at least you can go to bed at night without having your conscience flashing those images at you constantly. dreams are a look into your subconscious mind, and it's telling you to do something about this. if you do nothing, and i hate to put it this way, but you're almost as guilty as he was. report him, then let the authorities worry about proving it.

People thinking you are a loser is the least of your problems. The guy who bite the head off of the kitten is a psychotic loser. You need to report him to the authorities. If if was a human would you hesitate to report it? If he has done this there is no telling what other horrendous things he has done.

If you live in Australia.
You can call your local police station they can handle animal creulty cases, your local RSPCA or your local pound/council.
They will believe you these days animal creulty comes after the same aspect of woman bashing and child abuse.
You should do something otherwise they will continually do it again and again so if you are having nighmares report it.
Also they wont tell them you told as I worked for the rspca for a long time before I got a higher paying job, they wont tell.

You are not a loser.......For your own mental health you need to report this terrible incident,,Facts only..... to the proper authorities...People who have so little regard for life & participate in such a abhorrent act need to be dealt with & immediately..It has been proven that this kind of behaviour can indicate some even deeper rooted problem with the person who did the actual deed....I suggest that you come forward & allow someone who has the proper credentials to take it from here.....Probably the police as they would know who to involve in this situation....& what needs to be done....You deserve not to have to carry this baggage around......Good luck

Go to the POLICE and report everyone who participated in it! Make them take a written report down. Call the local branch of your ASPCA too.
You have only yourself to live with if you don't. You will probably need counselling too. I'm so sorry you had to see something like that. I probably would have tried to kill that person.

That was a really awful thing you saw, and he must be a horrible person. I think at this point it's probably too late to do anything. The evidence is gone and it would be your word against his. I'm curious about how the other party goers reacted. Was his behavior accepted by everyone there?

I would report him up. They aren't supposed to release the name of the person who called. Just contact your local humane society and tell them you want to report someone for animal cruelty. Maybe they will check in on it. That is a horrible thing for you to have witnessed. No wonder you are having nightmares. I would be having them too.

Animal cruelty is a felony offense and the sick coward who did that deserves to get max punishment.
It would be a bad idea for he and I to be within arms reach.
