The kindness that despite not showing itself often does exist in humanity.

I have lost it a few times...for me the coming back made everything more beautiful. I feel that wind in the grass, the flicker of a candle flame, a rushing brook, a snow covered mountain are beautiful and worth a hard life just to see them. However, my 18 month old daughter is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I have other children (high schoolers...ugh) and they are beautiful, but they were the children of my youth and I had no idea how to appreciate them. Since then I fought and won the battle against cancer....so having my daughter is nothing less than miraculous.

Don't worry about losing it. For many it is what shatters their illusion of self and causes them to finally become who they were meant to be, instead of who they were told to be.

Your agnostic friend, J

To treat life as a transit stop. The real destination, which lasts forever, is either the hell or paradise. Its hard for a human brain to even imagine how BAD hell is. The minimum punishment in hell is that the dwellers feet will be covered with fire so strong that their brains will boil. And the least reward in heaven is such that the person will think he's the luckiest of ALL. It's something we can NOT comprehend. So be prepared!!

Losing it? Been there....

What's beautiful? Nature. Animals, forests, watching the sun set from a beautiful seashore with the waves calmly lapping in, frolicking on a meadow, playing with kittens.....

Happiness, spirituality, and love. Knowing that there are plenty of really good, helpful people out there. Ignoring the rest.

Experiencing a couple of miracles after finding out that I had two "incurable" diseases. I would dedicate this to my best friend and lover who showed me the way out.

Living life to the fullest. Hope you find what I've found.

'Nuff said?

I think it's beautiful that I woke up today. I have another chance to experience what's been given to us. My son is beautiful. My wife is beautiful.

I've been on the edge plenty of times. I could never find what would make me happy. None of my dreams were coming true. I was messing up left and right. I met a girl that was into God. At first I was against it (athiestic), but after just trying it for a while I started to find those answers.

If your life isn't making you happy, you have to make changes. It's not always (ever?) easy. Life will change on its own, but chances are those things that are going to make you happy aren't going to drop into you life. You have to make them happen.

The most beautiful thing in life is God. He made life and gives love and life.

The satisfaction of making a diference in another persons life no matter how small. Making someone else life a bit easier by doing the simple. Waking up beside a person you love...

Just being able to wake up each morning to a glorious new day and still be drug free. I'll dedicate this to an old friend who no longer has that option because he died back in December.

A good friend who tells things to you the way that they are. They can sit for hours and not talk to you but you just know what is being said. A friend who loves you just because you are the person that you are and wouldn't want you anyother way. That is what is truly beautiful in life.

I find life itself to be the most beautiful . By all accounts , life came from nothing , therefore nothing should be here , but something is . And I'm pretty sure it will continue in spite of all .
