If you were going to have an allergic reaction beyond the swelling, you would have had it by now. If the stingers are still in, you could try scraping them out (don't pull). The swelling must resolve itself on its on, but you could try putting a little aloe vera gel on it to speed up the process. Also taking Benadryl every six hours until the symptoms resolve would help, but that might make you sleepy. It does for some people.

Someone who is seriously allergic will have problems with swelling, not just at the sting site, but surrounding it as well (for example, the bee stung you on the finger and your entire hand swells) - and possibly swelling in the throat and problems breathing. You should definitely seek immediate medical attention in the latter. For swelling, try some ice and maybe Benadryl if the swelling continues.

If you know you are allergic to the point you've gone into anaphylactic shock, which you would have done within a few minutes of the first sting.

People who are severely allergic and go into anaphylactic shock can die from a bee sting. They're supposed to carry "Epipens" around, which are injections of ephinephrine. They can stop breathing and their hearts can stop otherwise.

Right now, all you can do is not scratch the bites. I tend to run a fever if I get stung, so you could have taken some ibuprofen.

Well you're still alive to ask this question, so you don't have a serious allergy. Bee stings carry bacteria and the fact that it pierced your skin and lodged itself in you has really pissed your body off. To be on the safe side, make an appointment wiht your physician and express you concern. Your doctor will let you know if you need anything other than time to heal your wounds.

it would only be a problem if it has compromised your health in some way. make sure you got the stingers out bc that could have caused infection. after doing that put some afterbite on and take a benedryll that will take away the swelling and redness i promise. if this dosnt help at all and its no better in a couple of days you should maybe consider going to the doctors, but its not serious you are prob just mildly allergic.

No, the worry is that you are allergic and will stop breathing within an hour. That time is passed. Hope the swelling goes away soon. Try icing it now and then and maybe put on benedryl cream.

Bees leave their stingers in you (most of the time).
You have to take tweezers and maybe a magnifying glass and remove the stingers.
If you don't, you'll get the swelling that you mention above.
