It's sad, but I think he's too heavy, too old, and too slow now to make a convincing comeback. He may have enough skill to get past a lot of the B-level competition in the heavyweight division, but I don't think he'll do so well once he moves on to A-level fighters. Also, a large obstacle to a comeback would be his mindset. Take his last fight for example. It's conceivable that he could've won that fight if he stuck to it, but he quit. I think that he's more shot as a fighter mentally than physically.
It's a shame because it was a thing of beauty to watch him dismantle opponents while in his prime.

When I saw him bite off Holyfield's ear and give up in the corner against Lewis by saying "I can't" when being given some tactics by his trainer, I think most people will agree that these actions show that there is NO WAY he can come back. Boxing is all about belief and confidence above desire and then skill.
He is fighting for the wrong reasons and may only have skill left to fool people into remnicing about the Tyson that struck fear into Spinks before the fight even started back in the day. Even in the unlikely event that he did win, is the boxing calibre of today really comparable to the glory days of the 80s and early 90s? I think not!

As weak as the heavyweight division is today yes he may have a shot at a comeback. If he is able to keep his head straight he could make a comeback. Making a comeback and winning the heavyweight title are two different things though.

If he can get a license he will fight again. There is no way he is one of the greatest boxers of all time. Who did he beat ? Spinks? He was an above average fighter during a weak Heavy Weight period. They guy got knocked out by Buster Douglas. If he fights anyone decent in his future he will get knocked out.

No because the Russians are there now and Mike doesn't have a chance against them, they are knocking everybody out. His time came and went, he could have been great but he throw it away and now it's getting to tough in boxing for him to stay.

He's lost his passion in boxing and was getting tired. Nope, he can't comeback anymore. It'll be too much for him. He doesn't have the speed he used to have and lost his last fight to a white guy!!

I think he should go away and live in oblivion in Alaska or similar. He is a disgrace to the sport. Yes he was good in his day...it didn't give hom the right to rape anyone, or eat their ears...and going to prison and finding allah or buddah or whoever the hell it was...back your truck up
Iron Mike is now just Wet Tissue Mike

Yes, if he can return to a fraction of the athlete he was, that would be still good enough to beat the clowns that inhabit and have taken the mantle of world champion.
