when ever i try to download the sims 2, it stops at either %23, or
%48. what should i do now? is there something i need to buy?

I've tried to get rid of things that were on my computer that took up too much space, or things that i didn't need, but that didn't help.

since theres 4 discs it might take while to install and the progress might freez on whiling installing it.
so be patient it might take a long time if you have a slow computer.even though it looks like theres no progress being done its working, just go do something else while its installing insted of sitting in front of the computer for hours waiting for it to install

you won't be able to easily delete folders so do not flow attempting that. there is something on your computing device talked about as the registry (once you've abode windows). Deleting folders will only make shortcuts not artwork. attempt good uninstalling via both going to the start menu shortcut, and click "uninstall sims 2" it truly is oftentimes there less than the genuinely shortcut to the game. If there is not any uninstall shortcut to be seen, flow to commence>Settings>administration Panel>upload or eliminate classes. once you've Vista, it truly is going to take some searching round, even if it truly is interior administration panel. once interior "upload or eliminate classes" scroll down the record till you locate the sims 2, and click eliminate. Now flow ahead and re installation it. If it would not immediately run once you insert the disc, flow into my computing device, good click on the disc force and click "stumble on". you'll see each and every little thing contained in the disc. click on the setup document which should be talked about as setup or installation or similar. It has an ".exe" on the top of the call

First things first, be sure that the disks are clean and have no scratches.

The game takes a lot of room on your hard disk. The instructions for installing also say you should have your hard drive defragged (among other things) and to turn off other programs while it is installing.

Your system also may not be a gaming machine at this level of game programming.

To run a free test on your machine, go here and choose the Sims 2 games you want to play. Some games have more requirements. Anything in red needs to be fixed before you can expect good game play.

Piracy hurts the game industry. It causes big game companies to raise prices in order to compensate for revenue loss, and it puts smaller ones out of business.

I've got a better idea: Why don't you do the right thing and *BUY* the game instead of illegally downloading it?
