If Canada invaded the US would they win?

and if it happened which side would the Frenchies be on, would they just sit at home with their poodles slowing going up their own butts in smugness?

Just to clear up any confusion when I say the frenchies I mean the rather polite, totally not up their own backsides, bunch of french speakers who reside in Canada.Thanks.

Of course Canada would win. There are virtually no decent troops left in the USA - they are all abroad.

Canada win? Probably not.....and the French they wouldn't do anything remember they surrendered to the Nazi's and not one round was fired on either side because the French are cowards. But the likely hood of Canada winning in an invasion into the US is very slim remember the citizens here in America are allowed to have guns so not only will the Canadians have military opposition but guerrilla warfare from civilians with guns.

Why would Canada invade the USA? Its citizens already own more than their share of the U.S. stock market. Why? Because:
1) Canadians are more conservative investors than Americans
2) Canada hasn't skewed its tax system to make its wealthiest 1/10 of 1% even wealthier, in fact so wealthy that history will depict them as the new robber barons;
3) Canada hasn't wasted its assets in stupid wars
4) Canada has oil and tar sands
5) Canada's national debt isn't owned by the Chinese
6) Canadians, or a good part of them (25%+) speak French.

Canada and America are both members of NATO. The notion that one NATO member state would attack another is inconceivable. If it did happen, Canada would lose (despite having fended off multiple US invasion attempts in the 1810s), and France would be unlikely to help. They may feel an affinity to Quebec but this feeling does not extend to Canada as a whole.

First look at the size of the Canadian military 600,000 strong I think, making the whole of their military (Canada doesn't have military branches like the US they are all one branch) the size of the American Army only. Now couple this with the fact that their liberal/socialist government has supported their military very poorly (they disbanded their paratroopers remember). The question that should be asked is:

If Canada was to invade the US what would they do it with????

The French are the way they are because as it turn out they don't have the population to fight a protected war anywhere. The decline has been going on since WW I.

As far as Canada is concerned, I don't think they have the population either. Nor do they have motive to invade the US.

Since the Canadians are an extension of the french then, no they would not win.

Why is the longest unguarded border in the world the one between Canada and the United States? It's because we do not have a need to fear the Canucks. Canada is like America's attic. We know it is up there but who cares?

Remember, it is not officially World War III until france surrenders to someone.

I live in New York State and would welcome the canadian army as liberators if they cross the border. Hopefully they would arrest all the incompetent and corrupt politicians in new york, and maybe even bring free health care. the only problem is the canadians have really lousy food and no restaurants. im not sure of the size of the canadian army, probably only about twenty or thirty guys with bolt action enfields, but they probably look better than our overweight nys guardsmen.
