happiness is an individual thing and so the answer to your question is not neccesarily. That said, sex is a very human act and as humans we have a tendency to desire to embrace our sexuality.

This may not be the easiest q to answer.

Probably the most direct and easiest way to answer it is to go right back to our closest connections with God [Deity] and see what the Lord's emphasis was.

The very first favour God did for Man after his creation was to make woman ["a helpmeet"] for Him.
He said that it was "not good that the man should be alone".
That seemed to be His first declaration.

Upon making Adam and Eve, His first commandment to them was to "Be fruitful and multiply...".

He has never rescinded that commandment; it remains in force today ... despite that people tend to avoid such responsibility today.

So, via your [grosser] terminology, they choose to be "sexually active", but they do not assume the proper conditions for being so, nor take on the responsibility so-attached.
So, the Lord will deal accordingly, with them.

To elaborate a little further, the Lord has also said, "Neither is the woman without the man, neither the man without the woman, in the Lord" [Paul's writings, somewhere]

So our greatest blessings are found in family.

However, this does not mean that such is a prerequisite for joy and happiness in this life, especially, if a man/woman has hoped for true love and has done their part, but this has never happened in their life.

They will receive their joy of service unto Him, and will be promised all the possible Blessings available in the eternities besides.
So we exercise utmost faith in God that He will fulfill as He has declared in this regard.

Not really because no one has ever had a happy and fulfilled life. Not even Jesus.

Being able to have sex anytime you want as much as you want sure does help distract you from the fact that life is suffering. It makes you fee healthier and more carefree. That's about all it can do.

Not necessarily. But I think that most people do.

If you choose to live life as a celibate, you will have to understand that physically, your body was designed to have a sexually active life. So, whether your decision is religious or not, you should find ways to compensate for the lack for it in your life. Whether it is through prayer, meditation or other activities.

not at all
there have been times in my life where i have had no relationship and no sexual activity
and these have been some pretty happy times
sex in a relationship is a nice way to have a full relationship but not a priority i don't believe
id rather have a good conversation and a hug than sex any day

No, because even for those sexually active people, sex like anything else, after you do it so many times, the novelty is gone, and you do it just out of habit, but the thrill is gone. Sex alone is NOT fulfilling. Life is more than that.

I absolutely believe that. Humans are biological animals and it is a part of our bodily functions. If it were only for reproduction we would have a "rut" season. Sex is the only thing that moves us physically, emotionally, spiritually. It is our bliss. And considering the state of things...we need more bliss. Its heaven on earth and since I don't believe in god's heaven...I'm gonna have as much heaven on earth as I can.

Depends on the person and their circumstances. A lot of the pleasure of sex comes from intimacy, from physical contact, from the fulfillment of giving pleasure to someone you love and so on... so maybe if you get that from your relationship without actually having sex, you might be able to do without it.

I think this is your second question and if so this is now my second answer to you: I think you have a psycological problem and I would help you by sitting down with you and within no time you would have been alright but I don't do international calls, I only do local (within south african boarders), just go and see someone, you're danger in your community...
