Love-bites (or hickeys) are a temporary mark or bruise on one's skin resulting from kissing or sucking (not necessarily biting) forcefully enough to burst blood vessels beneath the skin.
It will fade in time bout 3-4 days, all you have to do is put some ice on it or hot towel to help clear it and you can hide it as well with a concealer.
A common herbal remedie for love bites is the mountain plant arnica, found in gel form at natural food stores.
Other methods for curing hickeys include awkward procedures such as the application of peanut butter, mayonaise, oil, or ketchup to the affected area. Some of these methods may completely remove the bites in a short time, but one should apply such methods gently so as to not cause further irritation to the area.

Get rid of them by telling your boyrfriend that they are trashy and look unprofessional. They will also make you worry alot less and feel alot less self conscious when you have them. My bf gave them to me for awhile, even when I refused. I had to put ice cubes in a plastic bag and hold them on the area for hours at a time. Doing this for very long periods of time WILL reduce the appearance of it, almost fading it to go away. You will still have to wear a little makeup but it will definitely fade.

Over the years I heard several things to do to get rid of them like putting a cold spoon on it or put peanut butter on them. None of that crap works. So my best advice is, if you have to hide them, dont get em. Easier said than done eh? haha good luck
