Investigate different post secondary education schools and find out which one you like best and which one has the best courses of your study. A smart idea also is to speak with a practicing social worker so you can learn a bit about what awaits you afte graduating. Social Work is a very honourable field but not everyone is cut out for it. The burn out rate in this profession is quite high and some people can only stay in it for 2 - 5 years before deciding that it is too demanding and so go off on another career path. Best of luck to you with this career path and I hope that you do make a good social worker.

Depends if you already have some qualifications. You need to do a Acess to Social Work course in College and have a placement. Then its to Uni. Takes about 2-3 years, but it depends on what area of social work you want to do, Youth, Adult or Children.
