I've used rice cakes to put pizza-type ingredients on them. That was very good as long as you don't let the sauce get too thin and soak in too much. Put it on and get it in the oven to broil before it gets soggy. It doesn't work to be too artistic or complicated, unless you make the "coating" of spraying the rice cakes with oil. (All natural, please!) That will protect the rice cakes long enough to get fancy with the tops. Me, sauce and a sprinkle of cheese, maybe one other ingredient like olives or bell pepper pieces, maybe crumbled sausage or bacon.
Dang, you're making me hungry for lunch stuff and it's almost time for breakfast.

I've had sushi pizza...that has a crust made out of rice...really good!
