a movie about cloning human life and then using the 'clones' as spare body parts for the 'original' if he/she has a need for like a liver or whatever. so they kill the clone and take the spare body part. Non-realistic? it is illegal right now in america to clone a human life, but how far away are we from 'the island' hmm?

i have heard that you can manufacuter (!!! yes ) a body part by cloning technology and not a full human and kill the clone to take the necessary part from the full clone!
This is a genuine innovation/invention, but again like NUKE its upto us to use it in a right way.
Any way i have not seen the movie but will see now

Pretty far, considering that once you clone a person the clone would still be considered a person and killing him would still be murder. Cloning individual organs is a whole different story.
