Insure or not insure my soon to be fiance's ring?

Any insight on this? Is it best to get the engagement ring insured or is it a waste of money?

get it insured before you give it to her... You might not be able to replace it and things do get lost at times. that would be very sad.

If it is a big rock and cost you a bunch it is best to get it insured, especially if it is brushed gold or anything like that will need to be maintained over the years.
