You get 2 points for an answer, 1 point for a vote, and ten points for a best answer. You lose 5 points for asking a question, but get three back again for choosing a best answer.
You can cheat a bit to make things faster by going back through the qestions yiu have answered, and looking for those which are in voting. Then vote for your own answer. this will help you to get more 'best answers' and loads of 10 points

Keep answering questions, 2 points an answer 10 points for best answer. When you get to level 2 you can rate questions for best answer 1 point.

Basicaly it just takes time to get points. I am level 5 these days and I just got that by coming here a lot. Level does not really matter that much.

The actual method is by visiting or giving better answers. The logical way is by opening two accounts in answers.yahoo.com then from one account ask any question and from the other account choose it as best ansers. Repeatedly do the same unless u reached a great level. Ha haha ha haha.

Keep answering questions and hope you get the bonus for best answer. Also every questions you asks takes away two points. You need 250 for 2nd level.
