Prodigy generally applies to younger people. But you can be good (or even excellent) at anything if you work hard at it.

There are certain fields in which it is typically the aged who excel; so anyone under the age of twenty, in their twenties, and/or under the age of thirty-five might be considered a prodigy (depending on which field).

Fortunately, the fields are many and varied. I'd start with things you find interesting, but some great examples & nice places to start would be: film directing, professional golf, quantum physics, politics, (computer) technology and business (especially entrepreneurship). And that's just "off the top." Imagine the endless possibilities you'll come up with once you do your own brainstorming + research.

If you're interested in exploring the arts and/or entrepreneurship, check www.1stavenue.org for some ideas about where young people begin to "spread their wings."

That's an excellent question by the way... Good luck with everything!

You can normally only be a prodigy in something for which you display a natural talent and skill beyond your years. Its almost impossible to set out to become one by definition

Nope. You have to practically be born doing something well to be called a prodigy. Plus you're already too old. Once you're past 6, they don't care anymore.

If you are 16 and can do anything that would be awesome. How about saving your money and actually going to class and learning something. In today's society that is amazing.
