Hello!! :o) I appreciate what you're going through. My sister is an awful person too. And awful people make life very difficult for those us who are at least trying to be decent and fair. But there is a thin line [sometimes] between being 'fair' and just being a 'fool'. If your sister is anything like mine - any money she would inherit would just end up in a needle stuck in her arm. IF what you're doing is trying to help your mom decide what to do with her will - I think it's important to know that IF your mom left your sister nothing - your sister would have a better chance in court of fighting the will. But if your mom left her something [a small - but reasonable amount] than it could be argued [in court - if it came to that] that your mom DID think of her daughter and thought what she left her was reasonable. [given the history between the two of them] Sometimes - family members end up getting more out of an estate [if they go to court and fight the will] when they were left nothing than when they were left a little something. I hope that helps. Craig!! :o)

Leaving someone something in a will is a personal choice. For her to say she will dispute it if left nothing, she will make herself look like a fool. A will overrides what she says, thinks and wants.

Whether or not your sister gets anything in your mother's will is up to your mother. Even though she shouldn't be left anything for being so evil, there is nothing you can do to stop it.
