Dear .. answer this ... does he HAVE the money to be calling you ?
You say far from you is he working in another country ...Mexico to USA or Canada or visa versa ... calling can be very expensive . is he saving to get married by chance . write to him
If it is a true relationship you will cherish those letters that he writes back .. you really need to talk it over with him .. maybe he could call you once a month ...tell him MrsDave says he HAS to ;)
Dont be worried! Get yourself busy with planning your furture .. if it includes your love well thats great ..
But remember YOU are whats important and what he will be losing out on IF he doesnt let you in on his plans .. if he see's that your also working ( expanding on your education or taking on a job )for the both of you it might help you be together quicker

As much as you aren't going to like this answer.....it's the best one for you. Either he is:
A...busy with school, work, problems
B...needs more independance
C...banging other chicks (BLING BLING)
D...from a guy's point of view (we don't know his side of the story), you could be nagging him to death and it might be pushing him away. In this situation, however, I don't think this is situation is applicable at all....he breaks his promises to call you
A person who is in love with someone will go out of their way to keep in touch. If he's broke, then he can chat with you online or write you a short letter. Stamps don't cost that much last time I checked. If he is in school or working hard, you don't want to nag him to death. And believe you me, school can break you financially. I know that first hand because I'm in school and I'm a broke mofo. Don't be a dream killer for your bf...that's definitely not sexy. No relationship requires money, it requires constant communication. You need to ask him what's up and he should give you a straightforward, truthful answer. If you can't communicate with one another then there is no need to have a relationship with each other. Consequently, my answer lies within that last statement I just made. If you can't come up with a good feasible reason as to why he can't at least call you a little or write you or something then you need to rethink things over. You two need to split up and move on. Find other relationships, date around. Long distance relationships generally DO NOT work without communication. Actually, forget that I said that....long distance relationships don't work PERIOD. Become friends with him, and then when things die down a bit, you can hook back up again. I'm sorry, I know this is a tough answer for you and you are really in love with your boyfriend. But sometimes in life, we have to do the right true things, no matter how much they break our hearts. And the truth hurts. You have to ask yourself how much longer can I go on feeling like this? If the answer is I can't or not too much longer, then you have to do the right thing. The right thing for you to do is to call it off and move on. I believe, If he also love you, he will definetly miss you. He want to contact you. He want to spend on you.
You will know if he loves you, better than me. Anyone don't have to prove the love verbally, its a a strong positive emotion of regard and affection. Its a deep feeling with care, share, faith and undestanding...
You both have to respect each others feelings and to be loyal to each other. That's true love.

We have the same situation girl. I am far from my boyfriend and he doesn't call me. I am the one who calls. But dont think he is cheating you. maybe he has reasons for not calling you. I understand you really. I know what it feels to be away from your loved one. So dont think negatively. i know he loves you but maybe he doesn't have the ways to call you. maybe he doesn't have card or anything. But you can communicate through email, chat sometimes. Dont be a ****** to him.. just take it easy girl!
call him, ask him the reason why he doesn't call you. and trust him. if you love him try to trust and understand your partner. and maybe in some ways he could call you. Good luck!
