plugged into the phone line for 12 months?

my boyfriends parents got the latest sky box and they kept the old one and put into a bedroon for an additional 15 euro a month. its really handy cause you can watch what you want on either one. let me no what you think

The question is how old is your box. You get sky digital boxes free these days so that is not a problem. You should think of what you can get for your money.

I would advise you maybe buy a freeview card for £15 and order a new sky system for free and sell the old sky box as a freeview box to a student for £30.

I just made you £15.

However if you don't have a telephone line then you need to do the following. Order a Sky box but pay a one off payment to SKY for £25 for the no phoneline contract. Then you can sell your old box for £40 just to make up for the loss that you have just paid out.

You then won't have to keep the phone line connected for 12 months.

you need to phone sky and ask them... i think you are confused slightly....... the box updates itself overnight, on the nights the signal is sent out by sky............

well i didnt do it and i get the sky tv no problems...
