yes--though i wouldn't say 'colored' --it more or less just brings out your own highlights--so if you have a lot of red in your hair, you will have more of reddish than blonde highlights, and if you have more blonde then you will get blonde highlights. I basically just squeeze one or two lemons into a spray bottle and fill the rest up with water. Then I spray my hair with it as I sit out in the sun at the beach (or pool) --everytime I come out from taking a swim I respray. This will give you very subtle highlights, kind of just brighten up your hair-- makes mine look shinier!
My hair is light brown to dark blonde, fine slightly wavy hair.

I, personally, have not.
But I know several blondes who have used lemons to brighten up their hair.
One girl didn't use real lemons, she rinsed (actually drenched) her head in lemon juice - the stuff in the green bottle. Went out for a day in the sun (we went to this creek and hung out, but not swim, she didn't want to wash the lemon out) and it was lightened, but kinda felt funky. Not really sticky or stiff... more like she hadn't washed her head in a week so it felt grungy. But anyway, we got home that night and she showered, shampooed, conditioned as usual and the lighten color remained and no more funk in the hair.
Another girl used an egg and lemon combo. Two egg yolks and a cup of real fresh squeezed lemon juice (she had shoulder length hair). Covered her hair with the mixture and then put on a plastic cap. Stayed inside, no sun. Shampooed and conditioned it out after an hour. No difference in hair color, but it was really, really soft and smooth after washing it out.
And finally... another girl, knowing how funky the first girl's hair was from the lemon juice, took it upon herself to take an empty spray bottle and filled it half with lemon juice, half with water to dilute it and hopefully not be so funky feeling. That worked.
Didn't change much the first day, but she spritzed her hair with it every day before going out into the sun and after a few days her hair got brighter (as opposed to the first girl's hair being lighter, but I think that is due to the blonde they were to begin with - the first girl being an average blonde and this girl being a dirty blonde so the lemon juice turned that brownish blonde to a bright blonde).
Oh, yea... and no funky feeling hair either with her watered down version.

Too much sun is not good, if you want to lighten your hair, do not use the sun to do it. If you insist upon using the sun to lighten your hair, there are products that will accomplish that much more quickly than "lemon juice".
