i agree, dont worship jesus, worship god...jesus is a messenger sent by god like anyother messenger before him. he is nothing special. it was only another godly miracle that he was born by a virgin, well, adam didnt have any parents. so dont overexagerate about that miracle. he never asked people to worship him, rather, to worship his god, our god, everyones god. he is one and only and no other god exists

First of all, I do worship God. I also worship Jesus His son.

Jesus said, in Jn. 14:6, that "no man cometh to the Father but by me". Therefore, (because I believe in the trinity) I worship the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I do not worship Mary because she was a vessel used by God for the birth of Christ. She isn't God, she is a human being that God used for His purpose.

Now, concerning the pain felt on the cross..........Jesus had a human body at that time. He felt every bit of pain, just as you and I would. Think of how you feel when you stub your toe. Then think of being beaten, wearing a crown of thorns and having nails driven into your hands and feet and hanging for hours while people mocked you.

I hope this has helped you understand better.

We worship Jesus because the bible clearly states that the only way to the father is through the son, besides, believing in Jesus is more or less the same as believing in God because they are part of the holy trinity, (the father, the son and the holy spirit). Perhaps you should actually read the book, and ps. I would like to see you crucified on a cross and then say after that it was only 'a tiny amount of pain'.

We are suppose to worship the Father, and we can because of the sacrifice of Jesus; so thank the Father for Jesus.

I believe that Jesus made us (at the directions of the Father).

The Father forgives us if we accept the sacrifice of Jesus and confess Jesus is our savior (to the glory of the Father).

I do not think that Jesus suffered just a little pain. He was totally man (as well as totally God), and therefore suffered just as much as any one else. He could have said enough on the cross (Satan tried to get Him to stop the crucifixion).

I don't think a crucifixion would cause a tiny amount of pain. And yes, it was something for him because he was in human form. Would it hurt to have your body nailed to a cross? Oh, yes! As a Christian, it is the Holy Spirit that moves us to believe. It is Jesus who died for our sins and paves the way to the father, God. Therefore we believe in the Trinity as our way of salvation.

I agree. To worship or respect God is cool. Cooler than respecting Jesus.

People worshiping God is just as silly as worshiping Jesus or...whatever, a shoe or something. They're just putting all faith in an object beyond them so that they dont have to blame themselves when they make mistakes and instead say it's "God's way". And "I'm still confused" is not a question so I can't really answer that. :S

i think they worship Jesus bcoz they have seen him in form of flesh n blood. they dont believe on unseen God who is the most powerful. they r just like atheists who dont believe on God at all coz athiests have not seen him. same way if Jesus was not there, christians would also be among atheists. means with the belief that there is not existance of God at all.

Jesus was born of a woman, there fore he was also human. Pain is pain, and your idea of idol worship, is not someone else's. Be tolerant of other's choices, unless they decide to be suicide bombers with their small/young children with them.
