Quotes from the bible:

1 Corinthians chapter 14:
\"As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.\"

1 Corinthians 11:
\"But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God\"

1 Timothy chapter 2:
\"I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.\"

So it appears \'God\' doesn\'t like women as well as homosexuals lol

This means technically Christian women are not allowed to have any position at work where they tell men what to do, and the husband is the \'man of the house\'- so the women should keep her mouth shut.

Only sexists interpet it that way (no offense). The bible clearly states that Christ must be the head of the man. If he's not, then the man is nothing but mortal trash! You can't listen to man trash! Jesus says that it is better to obey the laws of God then the laws of men! Or you could say God hates both genders, which isn't true.

We are all equal. Everyone has strengths, weaknesses and special gifts. Don't be jealous.

Mr man read your bible sweet heart in the old testament you will see that a woman named DEBORAH was the JUDGE OVER THE ISRAELITES AND SHE WAS A PROPHET there are many other areas in the new testament that speaks of the women who followed Christ would minister unto him meaning to teach also as he had done if you do enough research on christian religion you would find it was a preacher in the i believe 1700s that taught this sermon that god thought women should be seen and not heard but he only gave half truth to it my minister gave a sermon on women in church and there part by the way my minister is a man anyway and he pulled verses out and we read with him out of our own bibles that plainly showed women in leader rolls and Deborah was chosen by god to do that job hahaha

Is it sexist??

Thank the Lord in Heaven above: YES!!

Isn't it a pure relief to know that you can be real and natural when dealing with God; and only need 'trashy' "political correctness" when dealing with today's temporary Man!

Why do I say "Today's"?

Because it is only this particular generation that has fallen to all the Feminist indoctrination that began all this drivel!!
I sure like to be a MCP!!

Fortunately, there are still men today who are prepared to stand alone for good and for what's right!!

By Divine decree, men were set to be the Heads, and should be treated so in Law.
By Divine decree, women were equally needed, and equally important. Their Divine role is to act as the Hearts of the Home, and should so treated and trained in society.

And the questions you ask about specifically, apply particularly to home and government and church matters, for another scripture not quoted states:
"Wives submit yourselves to your own husbands as unto the Lord"

Today's view of 'No role' society and 'no fault divorce', etc. has all ruined life and family, and ultimately confused society in general.
Plus, confidence in inter-sexual relationships is almost non-existent by 'yesterday's' standards!

The old saying that used to jovially say:
"I didn't know whether I was Arthur or Martha!" accordingly, certainly well-applies today!! ... only seriously, not jovially anymore!!

How stupid have we become??!!

No it's not in and of itself.

By feminist standards though I would think they call it that.

Is it sexist only women can be pregnant?
No it's just the way thing are, but i think some feminists would say that it is anyway...so goes it when you get disconnected from reality.

You can prove anything by quoting scripture so that is no argument against the Church.

great Mr. Man, really wonderful. i did not know about all this. i wonder if all of this is in bible that also shows that women are any way lower than men then why christians object on we muslim ladies. i really want to bang that persons head who put a question that why muslim ladies r suppose to pray separately in mosques and not along with men? your women are not even given the basic rite of speaking. they r not allowed to use their tongues in church, the most basic rite has been taken away from them, and you ppl object we muslim ladies. gosh this is too much. first look into your selves then raise fingers on others.
my personal opinion about all above is not bad. i think its good that women should keep quite in place of prayer. coz once they start talking no one can zip their mouths (woman nature) but i want to object on those christians who make fun of us when we say that our men are our guards and more in power and everything.

The references given by you doesnot co-relate to the question.

even though i would like to mention that Christianity does not teach about sex. In fact christianity is not the religion of body, it is the religion of soul. the laws and principles and teachings take you towards self control and all the desires of the body. Body desires take you to the wrong way and harm your soul. If you learn through christianity how to control your body desires you will keep your body and soul very well protected.

CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A SEXY RELIGION.

My dear friend,
Despite all you have mentioned above I shall add some more.
Jesus said:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
(Matthew 5:17)

Therefore what there is in the old testament it is still in force.

in 1 Kings 11 we have:
1 King Solomon, however, ........................................................................... .
3 He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

If you misinterpreted the bible and got only one wife .... Bad Luck.
With one wife a man loses his mind.....
With 1000 women in his life Solomon, became wise.....

Christianity is not sexist. The priesthood and all these who pretent that they are Gods representatives, are. Let's put them on the fire.

The rest ..... your turn.:)
