You would think that having a pram would make it easier for the person as they only have to push the pram, & if U say how can they push a pram & pull a trolley at the same time think again, who would do that much shopping anyway, if so, you would bring a friend along with U. There is no fine for parking in one.

You would usually find the parking spaces are bigger/wider to make getting the baby/child in and out of the car easier. They are often quite near the store entrance. Obviously you have no kids nor know anyone with kids because otherwise you'd already know the simple answers to your question. Unless you are going for a few items you'd not fit your shopping under most prams - by the time you have put a pack of nappies under there there isn't too much room for anything else! And babies need a fair amount of stuff for such tiny things!

I remember reading in a local news paper, before the days of available parking for mothers with prams. A mother with 3 children who parked in a disabled spot was caught by a passer-by. This person saw her taking her children out of the car and putting them into a near-by trolley. She then headed to the very close entrance to the supermarket. She was hot and seemed in a hurry when confronted by this passer-by who loudly said that her parking spot was reserved for disabled people!! She replied by saying " having 3 young children is the same as disabled!!".
