Your hairdresser should be able to handle any hair situation but what I think she means is that if you dye your hair back to it's original colour then your hair will become too weak to hold the weight of the hair extensions. What I do know is that you are supposed to give your hair 2 weeks rest from dyeing before you get extensions put in. I have hair extensions and dye my hair blonde to match them so if you need anymore advice just send me a message. Hope this helps.

Go to a different hairdresser!!
A good one will strip out the colour. Just treat your hair really well for a while after, coz it may be a little fragile. Good luck.

you can wither strip the colour, but do it proffessionally. sometimes hairdressers wont attempt to do things if they thin theyre too underqualified, obviously then dont want to be liable for anything that might go wrong! you can do anything to hair these days, god ive seen people go from platinum blonde to jet black within two weeks so im sure a decent hairdresser can sort your rpoblem out a doddl

Go get another opinion.Maybe you can have the color removed and dye it back blonde or at least a color you like, as far as the short cut I would just wotk with it and not put extensions. Try to fix the color.

the extensions will look a bit dodgy if you have bright brown and red roots but wait a week and get a strong bleach on your hair, be prepared for your hair to be in worse condition but remember you have a lot of colour to strip off!
or get brown extensions.... just some clip in ones

a lot of conditioner and a good the teeth comb. pass and purchase the main inexpensive one from the likes of tesco's/asda etc in basic terms the fee stuff and you are going to wish it each and all of the entire bottle, rub it into the scalp and then as quickly as the hair is lined get on with the combing. The conditioner will help the glue slip down the dimensions of your hair xx

it will go orange trust me! you can go darker but not lighter that if you dye it but blond extentions no, it has nothing to do with becoming orange, go to anothe hairdresser and see what they recomend.
good luck
