how to make it run faster mostly adobe bridge my computer is pent 4 3.2 presscott 2gb ram

Three things that will really help with photoshop:
1. Western Digital Raptor 2 hard drive. This will cut your load time down a lot!
2. 2GB to 4GB of system RAM
3. A second hard drive installed for storage that can used as a "scratch disk"
Other upgrades that would help but aren't nearly as important are a Dual Core processor CPU, 64-bit operating system.
Any cheap $50 or less video card made in the last 3 years will do fine as long as it isn't onboard which takes away some of your system memory that could be put to better use for running Photoshop faster. Otherwise there is no need to upgrade the video card since in itself it has no effect in speeding up Photoshop which is 2D.
Other than that, defrag your drives regularly especially if you transfer and delete a lot of large image files.

In Photoshop go to Edit > Preferences > Memory & Image Cache and increase the maximum percentage of RAM used by Photoshop from 50% to 80%. This should be OK provided you don't try to run lots of other applications at the same time as Photoshop.

Upgrade your computer to be around the below specs.
- RAM 1 G.
- Hard drive serial ATA II (or if your mother board doesn't support SATA then you can use IDE 133)
This is enough to run Photoshop faster.

THE MORE MEMORY YOU HAVE THE FASTER YOUR COMPUTER WILL RUN PERHAPS ITS YOUR COMPUTER RATHER THAN PHOTOSHOP?

its fast enogh for time of now may be after savrle years new sistim became and at that time its geting fast I guess
