I am fond of Saint Jude, the patron saint of lost causes. And is there really a patron saint of television? Thank you.

Jkpoet, I don't give a rat's backside about your theology. I don't believe in the sanctity of people as defined by other people. I just like the idea of the saints as a poetic concept. I like the idea of St Tiffany. I didn't ask for a lesson in your backwards theology, dear.

For me, I'd have to say St. Francis, but there are so many that are so inspiring.
As to your other question I found this on the website at the end of my answer:
Toward the end of her life, when the was too ill to attend Mass, an image of the service would display on the wall of her cell; thus her patronage of television. She was ever the close friend and spiritual student of Francis, who apparently led her soul into the light.

St. Clare of Assisi is the patron saint of television. I personally love St. Jude as well, but St. Bernadette is pretty cool as is St. Teresa of Avila.

I think that would be St. Anthony hammer of heretics, and St Francis of Sales.
And St. Laurence, who was roasted for not offering sacrifice to the roman gods.
St. Clare is the patronsaint of TV.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mary, I'm sure you know the story. She stopped the sacrifices in Mexico and people became christian..

Saint Gerard and Cecilia. Gerard for problems conceiving children, and Cecilia reminds us of joyous music.
In response to JKPoet I believe we are all saints, some just deserve to be set out as examples of holy living.
Saint on!

St. Anselm was the most brilliant theologian and scholar during all the years between St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas.
St. Anselm explained why we needed Jesus to die for our sins, and why no one else could do it.
He gets my vote.
