I donated my hair to Locks of love. I have been given uninterested in getting to do "some thing" with it extensive-unfold. i in my opinion replaced into finding forward to short hair. I do propose you finally end up a sturdy hairdresser. My hairdresser does a super interest so I wasn't frightened in any respect. If I have been you, i might get my hair decrease and attempt some thing new. no longer in basic terms might it rather is going to a sturdy reason, it would supply you a clean look. if your rather uncomfortable approximately it, wait. it rather is going to nevertheless be there some months from now and you will nevertheless donate it to a sturdy reason.

Yes, I do each year. My hair grows so fast, so each year when it reaches my lower back, I go to Perfect 10 Hair Salon, and donate it to Locks of Love.
I think anyone who wants to get long hair cut, should always do this, it makes such a difference to those who suffer from cancer, etc.
This year I will donate it to my new friend Sue, she had to do Kemo for her lung cancer treatment.

I have never donated my hair. My daughter is 21 and about three years ago i cut her hair and I sent it to locks of love. We sent them a 16 inch pony tail. She did recieve a thank you card it the mail and it just makes one feel so good to know that they are helping someone else.

I think it's a great organization, but I've never been able to grow my hair that long.
I do donate blood on a regular basis, though.

I didn't (my hair is short) but, my husband did! He donated a 21" long pony tail! Made us both feel good that his hair would be used for a very good cause.

That'a great thing to do. However, I believe you have to have at least 10" of hair to do this. I wanted to donate my hair when it fell out due to chemo, but I didn't have enough.

I've never done it, my hair isn't long enough. Four people from work have done it. And while they never mentioned 'enjoying' it, they did say it was well worth it.
