Perhaps. At least the brick wall will never be offended if I slip into "inappropriate vocabulary" nor will it ever get defensive about it's personal point of view. It very well may "listen" at least as well as any person who had already made up his or her mind.
What is even scarier is that the brick wall will never give me a self-righteous reply.

By convince do you mean explain what my views are or convince them to believe what I do. I have no trouble explaining my views, I also have no intention of trying to get people to agree with me.
