Get a good recommendation from someone and make sure they have experience working with businesses like yours, such as employment, sales tax, franchise tax, AND various exemptions. Seeing some of the answers on this site from people who say/admit they are accountants and CPAs, I wish there was a centralized rating system because there are a lot of incorrect answers.

You can also look on sites like http://www.insiderpages.com and http://www.citysearch.com and see if a potential accountant is listed and has any reviews by their actual clients.

You could pick yourself to be in charge.

Go to the library and there will be a book on exactly what you need. The librarians help out self business people every single day. I am sure you will find some one doing it as you are and together you will help each other.

Take a short course offered by Better Bus Bureau or city hall or chamber of commerce and for sure get used to this wonderful web site www.irs.gov
IRS has lots of help for you, free Cd's and DVDs

Then if you still think you need more accounting help try a tax prep service and then an acc if you still need more.

You can do it...and at least you get to know the lingo and lay of the tax accounting landscape.

have fun, make money, make people happy and ...good luck,
.not necessarily in that order...lol
