If you do a search for "benin 419" you will find a lot of examples of scam mails originating from Benin"

I receive scam emails often from Nigeria, but never from Benin.

To be honest, I've given up on responding to e-mails from all African countries. I don't consider myself a racist and was open to talking to people from ANYWHERE, but all I got from there is scammers and marriage proposals (yeah, I know I'm just SO hot.......er maybe not, lol.)
I just delete them now.

No, but some people have found out that there details i.e bank details, home details etc,etc. have been found in Nigeria. It was on the news.
