I use circle magic primarily and am mainly a Hedge Witch.

Do you prefer to work with covens or by yourself? I'm a bit of a lone witch myself, although I do work with others on occasion.

Did you find the craft or did it find you? I literally could not avoid it - it ambushed me one day!

Also, do you have any psychic abilities? I see auras and have premonitory dreams. I have also managed to astrally project a few times, (although only once with out drugs).

Hoe you don't mind me asking - I'm just feeling very nosy! (Also rather outnumbered by all the militant Christians on here today - must just be hankering after some Pagan company).

ps: Please do not post me any abuse. If you do I will be forced to turn you into a toad, and then report you!!

ps: My question wasn't intended to imply that ALL Christians are nuts - I just don't want any fanatics hurling abuse at me, thanks!

I practice as a solatary and sort of ecclectic in the things I study and the practice of what I enjoy doing. My grandfather was a Siberian Shaman who always used a small chalkboard to draw pictures of nature. As I grew older,I began to exprience the true value of his wisdom. So as I would walk with him,I'll never forget the first time I saw this bright red Amanita. It was very magikal.I like to work with high grade Quartz.I'm really impressed with your courage to ask for kindred pagan company. That will go a long way for you in life by not allowing these militants to slow you down. It's people like you that make a differance in this world.Great work!!! I'm a chaos magician as opposed to a pagan, but I definitely have pagan leanings, and, well, when was the last time anyone asked a question about ceremonial magicians on here?

I work with others whenever possible. I was part of a cabal about five years back (and still would be, but I moved), but now have one other practitioner I work with regularly.

Though I do tend to work in ritual magic with sigilisation methods primarily, my pagan end of things comes into herbalism and divination. I also make my own incense specifically blended for various rituals.

I have psychic abilities--now. I have none naturally. I've put a lot of work and effort into training my mind.

I have always held a strong belief in the power of the human mind and the ability to exert our will on our surroundings. I went through various forms of magic before discovering the flexibility of chaos magic.

I possibly a Christian... yet o nicely :P i think of do what you like approximately debating. I used to argue each and every little ingredient amoung all and sundry (Christians, aithiests, pegan, and others). yet i've got finaly got here to the tip that it rather is actualy exceedingly stupid. attempting to alter somebody's business enterprise ideals is like attempting to end a semi with your bare hands, and whether you have the means to atleast particularly exchange it, they probable won't admit it. Now it rather is diverse if the guy ASKS you for some tips or some thing (until eventually they are finding for an answer limited to their very own ideals, wherein case it rather is not any longer a sturdy question). yet once you easily need to argue it, possibly you may arise with a diverse call than witch? via media, maximum human beings have been instilled with the seen a witch being a green skinned woman concocting evil magical potions, and at the same time as we would desire to no longer conciously think of it, it rather is probable interior the lower back of your innovations. Then there are each and all of the evil codoning from the witch hunts. Granted witches are not continually undesirable/evil (like the rest human beings :)). besides i on no account loved the assumption of cataglorizing human beings, like Christian, nerd, jock, Taoist, ect. via fact i'm a Christian, yet I rather do no longer consider each and every thing my Church says... and then i consider that of different religions.

My occasional forays into spellcasting are very rare indeed, usually conducted amid great privacy and never repeated.

Sometimes, I've used "orthodox" tools, such as fith faths / poppets to contain the spell's intent until released, or traditionally carved runestaves; other times, I've just invoked the spell's effect and cast it into the Aether directly, no circle, just the powerfully - worded intent (which someone actually picked up telepathically, a dozen miles away, last time I tried it).

There have been times when I have used the most unorthodox tools to get the job done. I've cast spells of communication in the form of soap bubbles, and I've used dice, toys, virtually anything I could think of.

Finally, there are the tools and methods of Chaos Magic, which are highly effective, whether you like what Chaos Magic stands for or not.

As for the rest ... I'm part of a bloodline gifted with a hereditary talent. My Mum can sense the atmospheres in rooms, and on objects. Me, I'm devastatingly accurate with Psycards, Tarot cards and runes.

I really don't have any set method of casting. My magic changes constantly depending on the situation. As a Seidrworking I make shamanic journeys into one of the other Nine Worlds in order to work magic, and since it is shamanic I work alone.

You can say it found me...more like the Gods ambushed me and dragged me kicking and screaming into it. I didn't have a choice. And unfortunetly yes...I am very empathetic and have premonitions every once in awhile. I also pathwalk/spiritwalk...it's how I do my journeying. For various reasons I can't do the leaving my body thing so I have to take my body to the other words by superimposing them with my senses on top of the physical world...so I'm literally walking in two worlds at once.

It can be quite a headache, to say the least.

I work in a circle when I work in a group. I do not belong to a coven but an open all-path group. When I work by myself, I use Astral techniques. I put my request out and I receive an answer back as to what payment is required and then I go what's asked of me. When that is done, I see results within a few days usually. If you have trouble projecting without drugs, use drums and try dancing. Drums vibrate in a way that tunes us to other realms. Give it a shot!

For the witch or wizard on the go, choose "Spellcast" TM, an easy to use system of mumbo-jumbo which allows the witch or wizard to get carted off to the very best asylums.

PS. I'm no fan of Christianity, but in the context of your question "no nutty Christians" really made me laugh. Thanks for that.

PPS. I've just turned green and warty and can't type anymore, I'm turning into a .... TOAD, oh no wait, I'm just hung over....
