microwave vs electric toaster oven - Which one is best in taste and uses less electricity?

Which brand is best for microwave and for electric toaster oven for mid-size family?

I think Microwave uses less electricty, Toaster Oven best for taste. I don't know which Brand is best,I think most Brands are good these days.

An electric toaster oven takes longer but is best in taste, definitely. Microwaves are great for reheating certain things, and great for a frozen meal, heating up water for a cup of tea, popping popcorn easily, but use more electricity. I have both a toaster oven and it's great for grilled cheese sandwiches, making hot dogs fast and crisping the outside skin and lots of other things. My toaster oven is a Black and Decker that is a hand-me-down from my mother and the microwave is a Goldstar. I have no complaints about either one.

I'd go for a Microwave as it is more versatile then an electric toaster oven.

Microwaves are best for reheating.
Toaster ovens do everything else. I personally like the Toastmaster ovens they are well made, and work well.
