Muslims believe Jesus is one of the prophets, where as Christians dont belive Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) at all, due to the Islamic religion starting 500yrs after the Bible was written. Also when it comes down to it many Christians/other faiths and atheists have been influenced by the media that Islam is a religion of hate and war. Therefore you cannot say its just Christians that do not respect the Islamic faith, its just that the majority of non-Muslims are Christians.

Muslims believe in the same Omnipotent, All-powerful, Unseen God that the Jews have believed in since Adam. However, unlike the Jews, Muslims join in with the Christians by also believing in Jesus as the "Christ"; "Messiah"; "Logos"; and "Miraculous Conception"; as well as all the previous Biblical prophets and their original scriptures that they brought. Muslims also believe that God is merciful and just to His creatures. So, they deny the concept of the 'Original Sin' [all children are born into the sins of their parents] and the 'Sacrificial Lamb' concept which requires the blood of Jesus, peace be upon him, to atone for the sins of the sinners. This being the case, how can Muslims say that God is just and that His revelation, the Bible, is corrupted? Where is it in God's great plan that His revelation loses all credibility? These are all very excellent questions.
It is a known fact that Jesus was regarded by his followers as a prophet and that what he preached was written down into physical form by his disciples. However, God placed the responsibility on humans to preserve the integrity of this message over time. When the people failed in their duty, it was made necessary for the Holy Qur'an to come into existence in order to correct the teachings that were changed. By God's mercy He revealed His will once again to Muhammad over 600 years later, and his companions similarly wrote it down and compiled it into what became known as The Holy Qur'an. By God's justice He promised that He would preserve it therefore making it the last revelation to humanity. Today an actual seventh century Qur'an, complete and intact, is on display in a museum in Istanbul, Turkey.

Muslims who make such statements with such questions definitely do not have a clue as to what the Quran is about.
A Muslimshould not utter a word about anything about which he has no knowledge or does not understand, and when one makes such a statement he is not a Muslim and has taken a false shahadah because he does not understand Islam and therefore cannot say La ilaha illa Allah.
Firstlt, there is no name like Jesus in the Quran and the Quran states clearly that the Messiah was not crucified.
Nowhere in the Quran does Allah say that Jesus was not crucified, but Allah condemns those why Allah has begotten a son.
Jesus was crucified, according to the Bible, but the Christ or the Messiah, was not crucified, according to the Bible.
Top make Jesus into Isa al Masih ibn Mariam is to deny that Allah says in the Quran that all that comes with the saying that they crucified the Messiah are lies and conjecture, fdor they did not kill him, but so it was made to seem to them, menaing, there was a trick, a hoax, and all that comes with this trick are parts of the trick, which includes Jesus and the Bible and Christianity, but those who say they are Musilms, do not understand the Quran.

That isn't true!! U accept Jesus as one of your prophets, the only difference is that u also accept Muhammad Christians don't. When some people try and influence their religions on others this creates generalised views. Everyone has a chose to choose what religion they are and we all need to accept eachothers differences. Muslims tend to huddle up together in their own "safety groups" they don't tend to accept others, accept differences or even acknoledge differences! Sometimes differnces causes conflict. I haven't ever meet a Christian that doesn't respect other religions-this only can be done if we aLL LEARN 2 ACCEPT and APPRECIATE OUR DIFFERENCES !!!!!!!!!! :)

Because Muslims believe in all messengers from God like Jesus and Moses, But they believe that Muhammad was the last messenger from God as well.
Christians Think that Jesus was the last messenger as well and that's why they think that every messenger who came after Jesus is not true.
Muslims believe that There have been always just one religion and that every messenger from God including Moses and Jesus came to add to this religion and that Muhammad was the last messenger who came to complete this religion.

Its because the Muslims left aside the teachings of Islam (religion of peace) & are involved in bad things like sucide bombings, extremism, terrorism.
I am a Muslim & believe that those Muslims who feel pride in doing such bad things & killing innocent people are responsible for the disrespect of our beloved Prophet (PBUH).
When you go through the history of Islam, the Prophet (PBUH) was equally respected by the Christians, Jews & non-believers during his life & afterwords. Everybody used to call him Al-Amin & Al-Sadiq. Was it not respect?
Therefore, instead of blaming others, we must correct ourselves first.

The simplest answer I can give you is, this is pretty much the same case why Jews do not believe Jesus is the Messiah because he didn't preached that matched with the Temple's teachings. Same rule is applied here, Muhammed told us the real message and it went against Church's teachings.
Church had 2 choices:
1: Accept Muhammed's message, which they knew was correct and loose their wealth and power.
2: Call him a false prophet and wage a war against him.
The rest is history.

It pains me to declare this, yet in lots of respects you're good. i've got confidence like the time is coming whilst many Christians will would desire to take an relatively vocal stand with the media approximately their disrespect for Jesus. It frustrates me lots as quickly as I see human beings accepting such slander. I comprehend that maximum of it is invented with the aid of an unbelieving strategies, yet in a capitalist and democratic society, Christians would desire to be prepared to take a stand pertaining to to the merchandising and marketing of the offensive components. have confidence what you like, sell what you like, say what you like. yet once you do no longer decide to hearken to it or see it, exchange the channel, walk away, write a letter, and don't purchase the products till a metamorphosis is made. As for the language used, i'm specific that God will carry us in charge for the procedures wherein we use His call, and the call of His Son. and that i'm hoping that as our society will become extra integrated with those of the Muslim faith, we are able to take a internet site from their own e book approximately comprehend for the two Prophets and God.

Muslims do not respect Jesus. The Koran calls Jesus a liar.
The Koran says:
Jesus did not die on the cross
Jesus had a look alike disciple die on the cross
Jesus was not the sacrifice for sin
Jesus was not the Son of God
--and others....
That isn't respect - that is calling Jesus Christ a liar. And, educated and informed Christains call Muhammad what he was - a war leader who taught terror.
