I have a question to all the Hindu's how does the marriage work? like for example what does the fire symbolise? I would love to learn more about the Hindu weddings and just more about the religion.

The today called Hinduism is meant to be based on Vedic literatures and was formally called Vedic Culture...
In Vedic Culture, Marriage is meant for Raising a God Conscious Family. Its a vow taken by Man and women to serve God Together and give chance for other souls ( Family and Children ) to engage more and more in service of God...
All Houses are actually temples, with God as the center...
Some people who are more renounced take up Celibate life, and others are allowed to marriage.. But the Goal of life is same..To server God..
Fire represents Fire God himself or the controller of Fire. Fire is the principle that gives us energy for activity...Its also the purifying principle.. So marriage vows are taken with Fire God as witness..
