Never put detergent on a frying pan. Rinse it with clean water and wipe it clean, oil it lightly, and then heat it fiercely until the oil smokes. The oil will get deep into the microscopic pores in the surface of the metal and help prevent it sticking.
This way, a cast-iron frying pan becomes easier to use than a non-stick Teflon pan, and because cast iron holds the heat, it cooks better.
No germs will survive the fierce heat and it will be the cleanest utensil in your kitchen.

When you first buy a frying pan that is NOT non-stick put a small amount of oil in it and heat until a blue haze rises from it remove from heat and put in salt to cover bottom about 5mm when it has cooled a little wipe round with paper towel and empty out salt then wipe with more paper towel to ensure all the salt has gone. This is how we taught to temper and clean our frying pans at catering college and they never stuck

When I bought my new non-stick frying pan a coule of monthe ago the directions told me to always wash in warm soapy water and never use an abrasive cleaner of any kind. I coat the bottom of minewith a thin layer of olive oil before I use it. When finished cooking I wipe it out with paper toels then wash in warm soapy water. No problems, so far.

as nutty girl says, you should glean it with salt & kitchen roll if its a standard frying pan. But to be honest with you It Is un Hygenice really to a certaine extent. The best thing to do is go to a specialist cookware shop and get a really good one take t home and rub it with salt then warm the pan up...do not burn the salt, add a little Fat (lard) to it then allow it to geat reasonably hot....swishing the fat around the pan (take care you don't burn yourself) then let pan cool an wsh with warm soapy water. The pan will never stick again as you have burnt it offf as it is called in the chefing industry.

Listen this is the deal.
You obviously don't have "non-stick" cookware, so... using a clean pan that you washed with dish-soap, use some cooking spray like Pam, but there are all kinds of different types for different uses, give it a try, forget the salt, and keep for pans clean for safe cooking.

Don't use liquid soap. I use only water to clean frying pans and the food won't stick

after washing it get a piece of kitchen towel put some oil on it and wipe it around your pan. this seals your pan. this should work for you. you should also do this when you buy new non stick pans.

if it isn't a non stick pan, try using fairy spray, or just
soaking it in hot soapy water for 20 minutes first.
