Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Why not just do it to surprise him.. guarantee it will be a positive result. In the end, this is your body and should be able to express with it any way you feel. If you are that concerned however how he would react.. ask him.

Ask him. He probably won't have a problem. If he does have a problem, do it anyway. He'll get over it. If he doesn't, you're better off away from him.
