They say that God works in mysterious ways, so who's to say that it was a Divine run by canning. Hey I have had a situation where I was riding my bike and the handle bars moved all by themselves(like I hit a large rock or something) when I stopped to see what I hit, I could not find anything in the road at all. Just then I see a black car in the shadows. I was going down a hill really fast and I should of hit that car(I did not see it at all) but because the bike jerked sideways all of a sudden, I missed the car by inches. So I believe that He is always looking out for us-Angles too!:)

Why not just ASK HIM? Have you been thinking about God and Jesus lately? Do you feel like you're 'missing' something in your life? Maybe you've attended church some or even made some promises to God?

I don't know if the trash can just happened to blow in and hit them OR if it was God's providence. But what I DO know is that God WILL reveal Himself to you if you want Him to! Just ask and then pay attention. He DOES love you and has an exciting life in store for you too!

If you think getting high on booze is fun, you need to get high on GOD! It's waaaaaaay more fun AND there's NO hangover the next day. Believe me....I KNOW!

Usually, when things like this happen, I do attribute it to God! Whenever there's a kid misbehaving, have you noticed that somehow they manage to get hurt just out of the blue? It could be stubbing their toe or bumping into a wall, etc. This is when I always say, "Thank you, God!" They always give me a look like I made it happen and I say, "Why are you looking at me? I didn't do anything! It's so ironic because I can't smack them , these days it's called child abuse! lol I always envision God smacking them upside the head and saving me the court battles!

I am KIDDING! I do not believe in hitting children, except....

I highly believe in god and i believe that he has assigned everyone of us a guardian angel. The night in question undoubtedly was help from God. Either he himself or your guardian angel took a very bad situation and took control. God work's in mysterious way's. In other words my answer would be a definite yes. my son was in a very bad car accident where the car flipped several times throwing my son out the back window, when he landed he saw the bottom of the car above him headed right for him had it not been for the grace of God my son would have been crushed, but my son said he felt two hands cup him under his arms and pull him out of the danger of being crushed to death. the reason i know that was God is no-one in human form was around.God loves us everyone

You asked a preacher! of course he would tell you it was God. I'll bet he charged you for the advice as well. By the way, you aren't old enough to bedrinking, since you haven't yet learned to spell, nor use correct grammar. It wasn't God, moron, just a storm picking up.

If there is a god, he does not go around throwing trash cans at bad guys. I think it was more likely some blossoming super hero, perhaps the next clark kent or bruce wayne.

If god sees fit to save you from a couple of guys who were bothering you, where is he when babies get raped? Where was he when a million people got hacked to death with machetes in Rwanda? What was he doing on 9/11?

It means nothing, sorry.

Trust me, God can do many miraculous things. The one thing is for sure, you should thank Him every day for that. I have had many things to happen in my life that would not be just coincidence and every time I believe that God intervened.

I believe you have been protected by the Mighty Hand of God.

It sounds like it could be possible. Also, however, it could just have been the wind. If you were really drunk, maybe you just imagined it all. You never know.

I see God in a beautiful morning, my cat's purr, a happy family. The beauty of nature and all things that make me feel good and offer me a distinct challenge remind me of God.
